I am a poor college student trying to knit (and dye! and spin!) her way to each semesters tuition.

I currently live in Las Vegas, NV though I am originally from Anchorage, AK. I live with my boyfriend, and our growing fur family; Dixie (black Schnauzer), Allie (white Schnauzer) and the Buhunkis (large, and I mean LARGE, Maine Coon). I love to travel, and have spent the last four years since I left Alaska taking as many short jaunts to new places as possible. So far Ft. Collins, CO and New Orleans, LA are my two favorite places I have visited.

I have been in college actively for the last four years, starting at a private art school for interior design, moving to a community college for business, then changing to sociology, briefly back to art and once again have settled on sociology.

I teach knitting, formerly at a local yarn shop and now independently one on one to students in their home or mine. I also spin, dye, design and have recently begun making and selling my own line of hand blended teas, hand made lip balms, soap and body scrubs as well. All of these things are available through my online shop BuyDaniDo.com

I also enjoy crochet, sewing, beading, amateur photography, embroidery and baking.

I am a proud member of the Knitting Guild Association.
