Time marches on
So, I haven’t been sleeping. And I’ve had a headache for going on four days. Nothing helps the headache, and I’m pretty sure it’s making it hard for me to sleep which in turn is making the headache worse.
But, while I was laying in bed this morning, willing myself to sleep for at least another half an hour my cell phone went off. I have an interview tomorrow at a salon that needs a salon coordinator (fancy title for a receptionist.) so after that call I was feeling pretty good so I just got up and decided to make myself a cup of coffee.
As I was stirring the sugar into the coffee, my phone rings again and viola! I have an interview this afternoon at the cafe inside of Nordstroms in the fancy mall on the Strip. So, that’s pretty freaking awesome. Two interviews means a) that somebody somewhere may actually want to hire me and b) I could possibly have a choice of where I want to work.
The stack of things I need to take pictures of is getting pretty large, so hopefully this afternoon when I get back from my first interview I can get the camera situation taken care of and start getting some pictures. I really need to send out the package to my “I love coffee/tea/cocoa” swap partner. I have everything done except sewing up one little thing. But my sewing machine is out of order for a little while until I can get to the craft store and get some new bobbins. So, I’m not sure what I’m going to do about that. I made more than was required so I suppose I can send without adding the last little thing, but….I want it in there!
Well, I’m going to go get in the shower and get ready for my interview.
