So, first of all I’ve had a pretty accomplished week. I worked up three, yes THREE, dog cardigans.

This is a size small fitted/tailored dog cardigan. This is going to be shipped to the nice lady who owns My Sister Knits in Ft. Collins, CO for her adorable little dog. It’s finished with silver snaps on the underside to secure it closed.

It’s not my best work, but it’s pretty nice considering I worked it up and finished it, blocking and snaps included, all while in Colorado this week.

Before we left I also finished up two sweaters for the girls to use while we were up there in case we encountered bad weather. (Which we did, it rained like crazy.)

Knitted from 1 skein of SWTC SoySilk in Natural Pinks. Cropped to go to about mid back, because my girls don’t like full length sweaters. They fit snug enough they don’t need snaps, and I don’t like to snap them into sweaters because they’re long underbelly hairs tend to get matted. (Hence the invention of the Puppy Shrug a few months back.) This one was made for Dixie because she looks good in pink.

This was knitted with Caron Black Magic (acrylic, but soft and fluffy non the less.) and finished on the sleeves with a little tiny bit of Lion Brand Cotton Ease in Charcoal (which is what I’m making my Wicked from).

I also joined the Knitting Guild Association today, and will be starting on my Masters Knitting Program as soon as I have the money to start ordering the courses. At between $90 and $100 a pop it may take me a while to finish the program. I’m hoping to be at least Level One by spring of 2008 though. It’s at least a tentative deadline.
