So, pre-drafting. Pre-drafting is the key, at least for now. It’s a little tiny hank, but it’s there. I spun a few yards of the brown wool, then a few yards of the pink wool doing the Z twist, then I plied them together using the S twist. I’m totally new to the lingo, so I hope I’m getting those right. I’ve soaked this little hank in some warm water and wrapped it around a dvd case to block. I read somewhere you’re supposed to do that to set the twist. So that’s what I’m doing. We’ll see how it turns out. I’m just happy that this actually looks like yarn. Unlike the only slightly twisted fiber I was getting last night.
