This unique club allows you the knitter/spinner to ‘choose your adventure’ by creating your own customized yarn and/or fiber club from a variety of options. In this fully interactive club not only do you choose the kind of yarn or fiber you want but also the theme in which you’d like it to be dyed and any accompanying extras.
To begin your unique adventure choose from the following options to customize your Dyed by DaniDo club membership.
Choose from three general themes:
Music (Staying in the Rock Your Socks Off genre)
Pop Culture (yarn could be inspired by anything from Senator Scandals, Blockbuster Movies, Whatever The Ladies from the View are Fighting About, Celebrity Gossip, basically television shows, politics, news stories or just about anything)
Nature (trees, flowers, the ocean, specific countries or states, seasons, weather, animals, anything nature related.)
Surprise Me! (You could get any of the above!)
Base Yarn Options – Choose 1 (All prices given below are for 3 hanks of yarn and/or 3 months worth of fiber)
Low Speed Chases and Garter Stitch:
1) 400 yards of ‘Super Sock’ (100% Merino) yarn in the theme of your choosing $75
2) 1300 yards of ‘Sweet Lace’ (Merino/Silk) in the theme of your choosing $90
Dark Alleys and Stockinette:
1) 400 yards of ‘Awesome Sock’ (merino/nylon blend) in the theme of your choosing $80
Knife Fights and Lace Without Lifelines:
1) 400 yards of ‘Luxury Sock’ (100% Blue Faced Leicester and/or another luxury sock blend such as bamboo, silk, cashmere, etc.) in the theme of your choosing $90
Live Dangerously:
1) 400 yards of each level of yarns. Yarns ranging from ‘Garter Stitch’ to ‘Lace without Lifelines’ (Only for sock yarns). $95
Subplots – Choose as many as you like!
*Add goodies! $3 a month (add 1-3 months for goodies. Goodies are random and not announced ahead of time, they have included anything from stickers and buttons to hand made body scrub and lip balms.)
*Add pattern! $3 (per 3 month membership) 1 pattern every 3 month cycle. Note: this probably won’t be a sock pattern, may be a smaller item that could be made with yarn leftovers from sock yarn. Sock patterns may be offered occasionally as a special ala carte item as they come available.
*Add stitch markers! $2 a month for 2 handmade stitch markers. (1-3 months, stitch markers will be hand made either by myself or another artisan crafter. You will NEVER receive plastic or store bought markers.)
*Add handspun! $15 a month (1-3 months, hand spun will be mini hanks of ranging between 60-100 yard hanks depending on weight. Will range in fiber content, will be at least 60 yards and may range in weight from lace to bulky. No ‘art yarns’.)
* Choose from striping or semi-solid yarns. Stripes are great for stockinette socks and work great if you want wild colors and variation. Semi-solids allow you to work with lace, cables and other patterned stitches. Choose from either one or ask for both! No extra charge.
*Slow it down! No extra charge. Yarn and/or fiber will ship every other month, instead of every month. A 3 month membership will span 6 months.
Want any of this for 6 months or more? Simply let me know and I will tally your order for you and deduct 10% for 6 months or 15% for more than 6 months at a time, in 3 month increments. Thinking of a ‘mixed adventure’ type of thing? Meaning, mixing yarn/fiber clubs, let me know which kinds of what you’d like and I will create a custom club for you based on how much of each you want based on the base prices listed. Taking orders on a rolling basis until the club fills up; if you place your order before the 20th of the month you will be included in the next months order. Any orders after the 20th will begin their club in the month after that. (Example: if you pay November 19th, you will receive your 1st club package in December, if you pay November 22nd, you will receive your 1st club package in January.)
